a little back story on this track: i did mushrooms a couple weeks ago, and I was sitting in my apartment dead of night, with all these thoughts and feelings. I started audio hallucinating this haunting piano melody, so naturally I jumped up and went straight for my piano. The first note I hit, was exactly the right one. And from that note, sprouted the main melody. As I sat there playing this new piece I began to write, I had this odd feeling strike me. It was a feeling of comfort I had never felt. The feeling was: I may not be okay right now, but one day I know I will be and that makes me peaceful. That is the feeling captured in this song.
